Formando Vidas is a Christian ministry to children at risk in Bogota, Colombia, under the umbrella of Youth With A Mission International. We exist to honor God and share His love through the regeneration of children in irregular and high-risk situations, their families and future generations.

In addition to direct work with children at risk, we are called to “raise awareness and sensitize” pastors, parishioners and society at large, convinced that the community as a whole needs to know and put into practice God’s perspective on injustice, mercy and poverty. As part of this task, we cooperate with the Viva Network, thus collaborating with other Christian ministries that work with children at risk.

Legal Information

Formando Vidas Corporation is recognized in Colombia as a non-profit social organization by the government agency that oversees the protection of children, the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF). In the United States, Formando Vidas Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are tax exempt and can issue the respective receipts for donations.
